Payment Options
a. Cash, check, or credit card
b. Verification of Financial Aid (Pell Grant, Scholarships, other aid)
c. Verification and billing confirmation of a sponsoring agency or employer
Note: Failure of the student or student’s sponsor to make payment on time will result in an immediate administrative withdrawal.
Southern Tech Waivers
Southern Tech waivers and scholarships will be available to in-district patrons for up to one half of tuition balance due after other financial aid has been exhausted.
Applicants must:
> Complete FAFSA (for Career Majors 600 hours or more)
> Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) according to Southern Tech Policy
Scholarships and Awards
Scholarships and awards received on behalf of the student by Southern Tech will be applied or disbursed in the following order:
1. Outstanding tuition or fees due Southern Tech,
2. Purchases paid out-of-pocket by the student for testing, certifications, books, uniforms or other expenses directly related to their field of study at Southern Tech,
3. Southern Tech Waivers for tuition.
Any remaining monies will be distributed to the student. Itemized receipts must be provided when requesting reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses.
